Product Designer
Anthropic · Barcelona, Spain
GBP 60,000 – 90,000
We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Growth team and take the lead on shaping the onboarding experience for new customers. In this role, you will be responsible for turning ambiguous problems into elegant, data-informed solutions that help users find value quickly. You'll work alongside product managers, engineers, and researchers in a fully remote environment, contributing to a culture that values craft, curiosity, and continuous learning. We care deeply about activation metrics, so experimentation and iteration are at the heart of how we work. This is an opportunity to influence both the product direction and the design practices that support it. If you enjoy moving fluidly between strategic thinking and pixel-level execution, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of dedicated onboarding surfaces, guiding them from early discovery through launch and post-release iteration
- Craft clear user journeys and interaction models that help new users reach their first meaningful outcome quickly
- Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and researchers to align on goals and ship cohesive experiences
- Design, run, and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses and continuously raise activation and retention metrics
- Lead design critiques, discovery workshops, and cross-team sessions that align stakeholders around shared problems and solutions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated product sensibility with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Several years of experience designing and shipping consumer or SaaS products within agile, iterative delivery teams
- Proven track record of partnering effectively with engineering, product, research, and marketing counterparts
- Skilled at distilling complex flows and edge cases into clear, intuitive experiences that feel effortless to users.
Nice to have
- Previous experience mentoring junior designers or stepping into informal people-leadership responsibilities
- Background designing for API-driven products, developer tools, or platform-style ecosystems
- Exposure to early-stage startup or rapidly scaling environments where ambiguity is the norm
- Comfort designing for sophisticated multi-step workflows involving multiple personas or system states.
